Easy Chicken Dijon

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/8 teaspoon pepper

2 (4-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter

2/3 cup Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream

2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard

1/4 cup sliced pitted black olives  


Chopped fresh parsley

Hot cooked noodles, if desired

 *Substitute 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine flour and pepper in 9-inch pie plate. Dip chicken breasts in flour mixture to coat well.

  2. STEP 2

    Melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add chicken. Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, 7-8 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove chicken from pan.

  3. STEP 3

    Add whipping cream and mustard to same skillet. Cook over medium heat 4-5 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil and is thickened.

  4. STEP 4

    Return chicken to skillet. Add olives. Continue cooking 3-4 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve over noodles, if desired.
