Fried Egg, Apple & Ham Sandwich
 

Ingredients

4 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Butter

4 large Land O Lakes® Eggs

4 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American

4 teaspoons honey mustard

4 cinnamon raisin bagels, split, toasted

4 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Butter, if desired

4 (1-ounce) slices Canadian bacon  

1 medium apple, cored, cut crosswise into 8 thin round slices

 *Substitute 4 slices ham.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Melt 2 teaspoons butter in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling. Break 2 eggs into pan; break yolks with spatula. Cook 1-2 minutes or until set on bottom. Turn eggs over; continue cooking 1 minute or until eggs are cooked through. Place eggs onto large plate; cover; keep warm. Repeat with remaining butter and eggs. Keep warm.

  2. STEP 2

    Spread 1 teaspoon honey mustard over cut-side of bottom half of bagel. Butter cut-side of top half of bagel, if desired.

  3. STEP 3

    Place Canadian bacon into hot skillet; cook turning occasionally 30-60 seconds or until heated through.

  4. STEP 4

    Place 1 slice cheese onto bottom half of each bagel. Top each with 1 slice Canadian bacon, 2 slices apple and 1 fried egg. Place top half of bagel over egg. Serve warm.

FDA guidelines for safe handling instructions recommend cooking eggs until white and yolk are firm.
