Gouda Vegetable Spread

1 (7-ounce) Gouda cheese round

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 cup shredded carrot

2 tablespoons finely chopped celery

2 tablespoons finely chopped red pepper



How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Cut thin slice wax from top of Gouda. Carefully scoop out cheese, leaving wax shell intact. Set wax shell aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Chop cheese into small (about 1/4-inch) pieces.

  3. STEP 3

    Combine butter, sour cream, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder in bowl; mix well. Stir in cheese pieces, carrot, celery and red pepper.

  4. STEP 4

    Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors.

  5. STEP 5

    Fill wax shell with spread. Serve with crackers.
