Hot Pepper Chicken Pizza


5 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Hot Pepper American

1 (16-ounce) round pre-baked Italian bread shell or focaccia

1 (14- to 15-ounce) can chunky tomatoes with Italian seasonings or diced tomatoes with roasted garlic, drained

1 medium green bell pepper, seeded, sliced into rings

1 cup shredded cooked chicken

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 425°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Stack cheese slices. Cut into thin strips; separate.

  3. STEP 3

    Place bread shell onto ungreased baking sheet. Top with tomatoes, green pepper, chicken and cheese.

  4. STEP 4

    Bake 12-15 minutes or until heated through.

Tip #1

- Save drained tomato liquid and use in soups, sauces or stews.

Tip #2

- Use a purchased cooked rotisserie chicken.
