8 (1-inch) slices French bread

1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Half & Half

3 large Land O Lakes® Eggs, slightly beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Fresh Buttery Taste® Spread


Powdered sugar, if desired

Maple syrup

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine half & half, eggs and vanilla in 9-inch pie plate; mix well. Using tongs or fork, dip bread slices into half & half mixture, turning to coat both sides. Let stand 1-2 minutes.

  2. STEP 2

    Melt Fresh Buttery Taste® Spread in 10-inch skillet or griddle until sizzling; add bread slices. Cook, turning once, 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.

  3. STEP 3

    Place onto serving plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve with maple syrup.
