Open-Faced Salmon Tea Sandwiches

1/4 cup sour cream

3 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill weed

1 teaspoon lemon juice

12 cocktail rye bread slices

1 medium cucumber, cut into 24 slices

1 (4-ounce) package smoked salmon, cut into 12 slices

Lemon peel curls

Fresh dill sprigs

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine sour cream, cream cheese, dill weed and lemon juice in bowl; mix well.

  2. STEP 2

    Spread sour cream mixture evenly onto bread slices. Top each with 2 slices cucumber and 1 piece salmon. Garnish with lemon zest and fresh dill.

Tip #1

- Score cucumber slices with tines of fork before slicing.

Tip #2

- Cream cheese mixture can be made ahead. Cover; refrigerate until ready to assemble sandwiches.
