Rich & Creamy Hot Fudge Sauce

1/2 cup sugar

1 (12-ounce) can (1 1/2 cups) evaporated milk

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter

2 tablespoons light corn syrup

1 (12-ounce) package real semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tablespoons vanilla

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and corn syrup in medium heavy-duty saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla until thickened and smooth.

  2. STEP 2

    Serve over ice cream or cake. Cover; store refrigerated. Reheat before serving. If needed, add water to thin to desired consistency.
