Sun-Dried Tomato Cheese Bread

1 (1-pound) loaf French bread

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

2 tablespoons sun-dried tomato spread or finely chopped oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

8 ounces (2 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat gas grill on medium-low or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. Slice bread loaf in half lengthwise.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine butter, sun-dried tomato spread and garlic powder in small bowl.

  3. STEP 3

    Evenly spread cut-sides of bread halves with butter mixture; top with cheeses.

  4. STEP 4

    Place bread halves onto grill, crust-side down. Close lid; grill 3-7 minutes or until cheeses are melted. Slice each bread half into 8 pieces.

Tip #1

- Make use of the upper rack if your grill has one. Time for grilling will vary depending on your grill.

Tip #2

- To serve as an appetizer, cut each bread half into 16 slices.
