Tart 'n Tangy Lemonade Frosties

1 1/4 cups sugar

1 1/4 cups Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 (6-ounce) can frozen lemonade or orange juice concentrate, thawed, reserve 2 tablespoons for frosting

1 teaspoon baking soda


3 cups powdered sugar

1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

2 tablespoons reserved frozen lemonade concentrate

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 to 2 tablespoons milk


Yellow decorator sugar, if desired

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 400°F. 

  2. STEP 2

    Combine 1 1/4 cups sugar, butter, and eggs in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Gradually add flour, lemonade concentrate and baking soda, beating at low speed and scraping bowl often, until well mixed.

  3. STEP 3

    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely.

  4. STEP 4

    Combine all frosting ingredients except milk and decorator sugar in small bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often and adding enough milk for desired spreading consistency. Frost cooled cookies; sprinkle with decorator sugar, if desired.
