Turkey & Black Bean Quesadillas



1/2 cup green or red salsa

1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed, drained

1/2 pound shaved deli turkey breast, cut into strips

8 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Provolone Cheese

8 (8-inch) flour tortillas

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, melted


Sour cream, if desired

Green or red salsa, if desired

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 375°F. 

  2. STEP 2

    Stir together salsa and black beans in bowl. Layer 1/8 shaved turkey onto half of each tortilla; top with 1 slice cheese. Spread with 1 heaping tablespoon bean filling; fold in half.

  3. STEP 3

    Brush both sides of each folded tortilla with butter. Place onto ungreased baking sheets.

  4. STEP 4

    Bake 10-15 minutes or until heated through. Cool 5 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    To serve, cut each quesadilla into thirds. Serve with desired toppings.
