QHi Becky! With school starting, I need a slow cooker recipe to serve during our parent-teacher conferences. The poor teachers are tired of spaghetti and lasagna. I am hoping you can help me to entice their taste buds with something a little different. They all seem to be dieting now, but with the right meal I am sure they would "cheat" a little if need be.

Slow cookers are the perfect way to supply something warm and delicious for teachers — or any pot luck dinner where electricity is available. We've developed several recipes that work beautifully for this popular appliance, so you can easily branch out into some more enticing offerings that will help your teachers make it through this busy time.

Try our hearty Mushroom Barley Chicken, zippy Sweet 'N Spicy Garbanzo Chili or more traditional Texas Barbecue Beef Sandwiches in a deliciously tangy homemade barbecue sauce. You'll be sure to make the grade with your teachers!
