Cinnamon Twists

1 loaf frozen bread dough

7 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Pumpkin Pie Spice Butter Spread, divided

1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar



2 1/4 cups powdered sugar

3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Pumpkin Pie Spice Butter Spread

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. STEP 2

    Place bread dough onto prepared baking sheet; cover lightly with plastic food wrap. Let thaw at room temperature 1 1/2 hours or until completely thawed and dough feels soft. Do not let rise. 

  3. STEP 3

    Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

  4. STEP 4

    Roll out dough on lightly floured surface into 14x8-inch rectangle. Spread 1/4 cup Pumpkin Pie Spice Butter Spread onto dough. Sprinkle with brown sugar.

  5. STEP 5

    Fold dough in half lengthwise. Cut into 3/4-inch strips. Twist each strip twice. Place twisted strips into prepared baking pan.  

  6. STEP 6

    Place 3 tablespoons butter spread into small bowl; microwave until melted. Brush over twists. Cover; let rise in warm place 10 minutes.

  7. STEP 7

    Bake 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool 5 minutes. 

  8. STEP 8

    Meanwhile, place powdered sugar and 3/4 cup butter spread in medium bowl. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light and fluffy.

  9. STEP 9

    Serve warm twists with a side of frosting for dipping.
