How to make

  1. STEP 1

Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch springform pan with nonstick baking spray. Set aside.

  2. STEP 2

Combine 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup granulated sugar in bowl of stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment; beat at medium speed until creamy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until just blended. Gradually beat in 1 1/4 cups flour, baking powder, cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon salt until just combined. Beat in milk, scraping down side of bowl as needed, until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.

  3. STEP 3

Peel, core and thinly slice apples. Arrange slices in even layer over cake batter.

  4. STEP 4

Combine all streusel ingredients in food processor bowl fitted with metal blade. Cover; process until mixture resembles bread crumbs. Sprinkle streusel evenly over apple slices.

  5. STEP 5

Bake 1 hour or until surface is golden brown. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Run knife around edge of pan; release side of pan. Transfer cake to serving plate.

  6. STEP 6

Sift powdered sugar into medium bowl. Add Irish cream, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency. Stir in pinch salt. Spoon glaze into piping bag. Drizzle individual cake slices with glaze.
