Brown Butter Potatoes

Ingredients

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter

2 pounds baby potatoes, about 1-inch diameter

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon coarse ground pepper

10 fresh thyme sprigs

1 1/2 teaspoons coarsely chopped fresh thyme

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Melt butter in 12- to 13-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add potatoes, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally and watching closely, 5 minutes or until butter foams and just starts to turn delicate golden. Reduce heat to medium; add thyme sprigs. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally and adjusting heat if butter begins to get too dark, 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are browned and easily pierced with tip of knife.

  2. STEP 2

    Transfer potatoes to serving dish; spoon any extra butter from skillet over potatoes. Sprinkle with additional salt, if desired, and thyme leaves.
