Baked Turkey Tacos

Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey, cooked, drained

1 cup refried beans

1/2 cup salsa

3 tablespoons taco seasoning mix

1 (8-ounce) package (2 cups) Land O Lakes® Co-Jack® Cheese Chunk, shredded

12 crunchy taco shells

 

Optional Toppings

Diced tomatoes

Fresh cilantro

Sour cream

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 375°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Stir together cooked turkey, refried beans, salsa, taco seasoning and 4 ounces shredded cheese; divide evenly among taco shells, about 1/4 cup each. Place stuffed tacos side-by-side, upright, in 13x9-inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle tacos with remaining cheese.

  3. STEP 3

    Bake 15 minutes or until filling is hot and cheese is melted. Serve with desired toppings.

Tip #1

Use balls of crumpled foil to keep tacos upright in baking dish, if needed.

Tip #2

Swap ground turkey for ground beef, if desired.
