Blueberry Buttermilk Slab Biscuits

Ingredients
2 14 cups (270 grams) all-purpose flour
13 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon zest
2 teaspoons baking powder
34 teaspoon salt
2 cups fresh blueberries
1 cup buttermilk, plus additional for brushing
1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter, melted, cooled slightly
Coarse sugar, as desired for garnish
How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 425°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk together flour, granulated sugar, lemon zest, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Stir in blueberries until coated with flour. Stir in 1 cup buttermilk and melted butter until evenly combined. Dough will be sticky.

Scoop dough into center of prepared baking sheet; using spatula or butter knife, spread dough into 7-inch square, about 1 inch high. Cut dough into 9 squares. Brush tops with additional buttermilk. Sprinkle top generously with coarse sugar, if desired.

Bake 21-24 minutes or until deep golden brown. Serve warm.
