Broccoli Bell Pepper Sauté

This simple and quick side dish is also colorful and healthy.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter

5 cups broccoli florets

1 medium (1 cup) red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch strips

2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic

1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Melt butter in 12-inch deep nonstick skillet until sizzling; add broccoli, bell pepper and garlic. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Add water; reduce heat to medium. Cover; cook 3-4 minutes or until broccoli is crisply tender.

  2. STEP 2

    Remove from heat. Sprinkle with sesame seed. Serve immediately.

Roasted or toasted sesame seed are available in the Asian section of the supermarket.

Very easy, and good but not great. (But so easy that I feel like "great" would be too much to ask, tbh.) Served it with chicken for a simple side, but spiced it up a little bit with some red pepper flakes.
