was low on butter, so I used extra bananas. came out great.
it was easy to make and I enjoyed it very much! Great with ice cold milk!!!!
I found this recipe from a Land o' Lakes advertisement page featuring recipes in Reader's Digest magazine about 15 years ago and, unfortunately, lost during one of my moves in the years since. I've been searching for this recipe--the best banana bread I've ever had--for years! Finally, finally, I was able to find it again here! The funny thing is that I've never made it with the coconut or macadamia nuts and I still think it's amazing. The other ingredients are things you usually have on hand (both the OJ and the orange rind can be provided from a single orange or mandarin) and it's relatively easy to make; the hardest part is grating orange peel. :) Just tried it with chocolate chips and it was awesome. Highly, highly recommend... Don't lose the recipe! :D
I have made this recipe time and time again and get so many compliments how tasty and moist this
recipe is. It's so easy, that I already know the recipe by heart!
Want to make it. :) I need to work for a few of the ingredients. I want to understand better.
