Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies - the favorite for kids of all ages!

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt, if desired
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1 (12-ounce) package (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts, if desired
Heat oven to 375°F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Set aside.
Combine brown sugar, butter and sugar in large bowl. Beat at high speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat until well mixed. Gradually add flour mixture, beating at low speed after each addition. Stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 9-10 minutes for chewy cookies or 12-13 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack. Cool completely.

Can this recipe be doubled? And if so are there any changes that need to be made?
Hi Renee, we would recommend making two separate batches, as we haven't tested doubling this recipe. Happy baking!
