3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate , melted, cooled
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup salted peanuts, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup white baking chips
*Substitute 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts.
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine sugar, butter, egg and vanilla in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Stir in melted chocolate. Add flour and baking powder; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in chopped peanuts and white baking chips.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7-9 minutes or until set. Let stand 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.
