Ingredients

Crust

1/2 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter
1/3 cup
real semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup
sugar
3/4 cup
all-purpose flour
1/2 cup
chopped walnuts, pecans or peanuts
2
large Land O Lakes® Eggs
1 teaspoon
vanilla

Topping

1 cup
miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup
real semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 teaspoons
shortening

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
  2. Melt butter and 1/3 cup chocolate chips in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, 4-4 minutes or until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in all remaining crust ingredients until well mixed.
  3. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until sides of bars begin to pull away from edges of pan.
  4. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Continue baking for 3 minutes.
  5. Combine 1/2 cup chocolate chips and shortening in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH, stirring occasionally, 1-2 minutes or until melted. Drizzle bars with melted chocolate. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
