Ingredients

2 1/4 cups
all-purpose flour
1 cup
sugar
1/2 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter, melted, cooled
2
large Land O Lakes® Eggs, slightly beaten
2 teaspoons
baking powder
1 teaspoon
vanilla
1/2 cup
real semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup
dried cherries, chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, butter, eggs, baking powder and vanilla in bowl; mix until dough forms a ball. Stir in chocolate chips and cherries.
  3. Divide dough in half. Shape each half into 12x2-inch log on lightly floured surface. Place logs at least 3 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 22 minutes or until surface is firm to the touch and golden around edges. Remove from oven. Cool 10 minutes.
  4. Cut each log into 1-inch slices with serrated knife. Place slices, cut-side down, on cookie sheet. Continue baking 16-20 minutes, turning once, or until crisp and light golden brown on both sides. Place onto cooling racks; cool completely.
