1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly grated orange zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white baking chips
2 tablespoons shortening
1 cup real semi-sweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine all cookie ingredients except flour in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add flour; beat at low speed until well mixed.
Fit cookie press with ribbon template. Fill cookie press with dough. Press long continuous strips of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet; score with knife every 3 inches. Bake 7-9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cut or break apart on scored lines. Cool completely.
Melt white baking chips and 1 tablespoon shortening in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes or until smooth. Melt chocolate chips and remaining shortening in another 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes or until smooth. Pour melted mixtures side by side into shallow dish; swirl with knife for marbled effect. Dip one end of each cookie into marbled mixture. Place cookies on cooling rack over waxed paper to set.
Lemon or Lime Ribbons: Substitute 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice and 1 1/2 teaspoons finely grated lemon or lime zest for orange juice and zest.
