1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Unsalted Butter, softened
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 teaspoons shortening

Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, pepper, salt and cinnamon in bowl. Set aside.
Place powdered sugar and butter in another bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour mixture; beat at low speed until well mixed.
Divide dough in half. Shape each half into ball; flatten slightly. Wrap each in plastic food wrap. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or until firm.
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Roll out dough, one ball at a time (keeping remaining dough refrigerated), on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut with 2-inch round cookie cutter. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7-8 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
Combine chocolate chips and shortening in bowl. Microwave 30 seconds; stir. Continue microwaving, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth.
Glaze cookies; top with sprinkles, if desired. Let stand until glaze is set.
