Ingredients

3 (1-ounce) squares
unsweetened baking chocolate, chopped
3 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter
2 cups
sugar
1 (12-ounce) can
evaporated milk
1 teaspoon
vanilla

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate and butter in 2-quart saucepan over low heat until smooth (3 to 5 minutes). Stir in sugar and milk.
  2. Increase heat to medium; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil (8 to 10 minutes). Continue cooking, stirring constantly, 4 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Serve warm. Store in refrigerator.

Love this stuff!

This really WAS easy to make. Topping was smooth and re-heated well. I think I will cut the required sugar by at least a third next time - The canned milk gives a lot of extra sweetness.
