These soft chocolate cream-filled sandwich cookies are similar to whoopie pies.

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg
2 1/4 cups all-purpose
1 cup milk
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (12-ounce) can soft whipped white frosting
Multi-colored decorator nonpareils
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine brown sugar, butter and egg in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add all remaining cookie ingredients; beat at low speed until well mixed.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets; spread, using back of spoon, into 1 1/2-inch circles. Bake 6-8 minutes or until cookies are puffed and set. Cool completely.
Spread about 2tablespoons frosting onto bottom-side of 1cookie; top with second cookie, bottom-side down. Squeeze together gently. Immediately roll edges of filling in decorator nonpareils. Repeat with remaining cookies and filling.
