Ingredients

Marinade

(2/3 Cup)
olive oil
(2 Tablespoons)
lemon juice
(2 Tablespoons)
finely chopped fresh garlic
(2 Teaspoons)
dried oregano leaves
(2 Teaspoons)
salt
(1/2 Teaspoon)
coarse ground pepper
(1/4 Teaspoon)
crushed red pepper

Drummies

(1 (48-Ounce) Package)
frozen (22 to 27) chicken wing drumettes, thawed

Cucumber Sauce

(1 Cup)
plain yogurt
(1 Cup)
sour cream
(1 small (1/2 cup) )
cucumber, peeled, seeded, shredded
(1 Tablespoon)
lemon juice
(1 Tablespoon)
dried dill weed
(1/2 Teaspoon)
salt
(1/4 Teaspoon)
coarse ground pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in large resealable plastic food bag; add chicken drumettes. Tightly seal bag; turn bag several times to coat chicken. Place bag in pan. Refrigerate, turning occasionally, 3 hours or overnight.
  2. Combine all cucumber sauce ingredients in small bowl; mix well. Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours.
  3. Heat oven to 425°F.Remove chicken drumettes from marinade; discard marinade. Arrange chicken on aluminum foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake 50-55 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink, turning once.
  4. Serve hot chicken wing drumettes with cucumber sauce.

Cucumber sauce flavor is best when made a day ahead.

Chicken wings can be kept warm for entertaining by placing fully baked drumettes and all remaining juice into slow cooker set on Low heat setting.
