Serve this cream sauce over hot cooked pasta.
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups Land O Lakes® Half & Half
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon fresh flat leaf parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh basil leaves, chopped
Hot cooked pasta
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt, if desired
Pepper, if desired
Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat just until sizzling. Stir in flour; cook 1 minute or until smooth and bubbly. Add half & half, chicken broth, parsley and basil. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 5-8 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Serve sauce over hot cooked pasta; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper, if desired.
