Ingredients

2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter
1 teaspoon
garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon
Italian seasoning
1 pound
sliced deli roast beef
1 medium (1 cup)
onion, thinly sliced
1 small (1/2 cup)
red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 small (1/2 cup)
green bell pepper, thinly sliced
8 (3/4-ounce) slices
Land O Lakes® Provolone Cheese
4
hoagie-style rolls, split

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Melt butter in skillet over medium high heat until sizzling. Stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning until dissolved into butter. Add onions and bell peppers.  Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until vegetables are softened.
  3. Add beef to same skillet.  Cook, stirring often, 3-5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink.
  4. Place 2 slices cheese onto each roll. Place onto baking sheet; bake 6-8 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  5. Divide meat and vegetable mixture evenly among rolls.
