1 cup sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups uncooked quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (14-ounce) package (2 cups) candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
1 cup coarsely chopped peanuts
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine sugar, brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla in bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add all remaining ingredients except chocolate pieces and peanuts. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in chocolate pieces and peanuts.
Drop dough by scant 1/4 cupfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 12-16 minutes or until light golden brown.

I have been making these out of my booklet from Land O Lakes that is 25+ years old. They are the greatest and my husbands favortie cookies. I substitute chocolate chunks for the candies most of the time, except at Christmas I use red and green M&M's.
