Learn How it Works...
Cookie
3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Drizzle
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavoring
3 to 5 teaspoons water
2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
STEP 1
Combine butter and cream cheese in large bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add brown sugar and 1 teaspoon maple flavoring; continue beating until smooth. Add flour and baking soda; beat at low speed until well mixed. Cover; refrigerate until firm.
STEP 2
Heat oven to 350°F.
STEP 3
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball into a 3-inch rope. Place onto ungreased cookie sheets. Form into crescent shape; pinch ends and flatten middle slightly. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets. Place onto wire racks over waxed paper; cool completely.
STEP 4
Whisk together powdered sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavoring, and enough water for desired drizzling consistency in small bowl until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled cookies; drizzle with melted chocolate. Let stand 2 hours or until chocolate is set.
STEP 5
Store cookies between sheets of waxed paper in container with tight-fitting lid.
To melt chocolate, place chocolate chips in small microwave-safe bowl Microwave on MEDIUM (50% power) until chips are melted (1 1/2-2 minutes). Spoon into small reasealable plastic food storage bag. Snip small hole in one corner of bag. Drizzle chocolate over cookies.
