Serve this fresh combination of tropical fruits as a salad or as an appetizer fruit salsa.

Ingredients

mangos, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
2
kiwifruit, peeled, sliced 1/4-inch, cut in half
1
fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
2 tablespoons
chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon
fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons
freshly grated lime zest
1 teaspoon
finely chopped fresh garlic
1 teaspoon
chopped seeded red chile pepper

Directions

  1. Place mangoes, kiwifruit and pineapple in bowl; toss gently. Add all remaining ingredients; stir gently to coat. Let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate until serving time.

  4. Mango, Pineapple & Kiwi Salsa: Finely chop mangoes, kiwifruits and pineapple. Prepare as directed above. Serve with tortilla chips.

Recipe Tips

To take along, pack fruit ingredients in separate covered containers. Mix remaining ingredients in another covered container. Keep refrigerated in cooler until serving time. Toss fruit and dressing together in large bowl at serving time.
