1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2/3 cup cold Land O Lakes® Butter, cut into chunks
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg (yolk only)
2 tablespoons sugar
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine flour, powdered sugar, lemon zest and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg in bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in egg yolk until dough forms a ball.
Combine sugar and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg in bowl. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in sugar mixture. Place onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten ball with cookie stamp or bottom of glass to 1/4-inch thickness. Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
