Ingredients

1/2 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter
1 (12-ounce) package (2 cups)
real semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup
butterscotch-flavored chips
1 cup
peanut butter
4 cups
crisp rice cereal
3 cups
miniature marshmallows

Directions

  1. Combine butter, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in 4-quart saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 4-6 minutes or until melted. Stir in peanut butter until well mixed.
  2. Remove from heat. Add cereal and marshmallows; toss until well coated.
  3. Press mixture onto bottom of buttered 13x9-inch baking pan. Refrigerate until firm.
  4. Cut into bars. Store refrigerated.

I've made this several times. I use Cocoa Krispies, substitute almond butter for the peanut butter and add in slivered almonds. It always gets rave reviews!

I was tired of store-bought Gluten-free bars being so expensive and tasting like cardboard. This really hit the spot(s) $$$ and taste! I added coconut and raisins, and cut up regular marshmallows. Next time I'll add some nuts... ; )
