I substitute chopped up almond bark for the white baking chips which brings a rich flavor to this delicious recipe.
Made them for my son for Valentine's Day, he has requested them twice since, they are so good and easy to prepare.
I made several batches of this cookie last year for a Christmas cookie exchange; everyone LOVED it. I will make it again. It's a unique cookie flavour and easy recipe.
I usually make whole wheat cookies but these definitely come out far better using all purpose flour.
I've been making this cookie for years, and it's one of my
most requested. Most tasters ask for the recipe. I use Tang,
and since I started making it Tang has changed a bit, but it
doesn't affect the cookie. I've considered using a different
flavor drink mix, but haven't tried it. Could be very good!
