Recipe Tips

These muffins are best served warm. They can be baked ahead of time, however, do not glaze them. When ready to serve, heat oven to 350°F. Wrap muffins in aluminum foil; heat about 15 minutes. Glaze warm muffins and serve.

I make these every year for Easter Breakfast. My granddaughter love's these. I sometimes make them throughout the year and put them in the freezer for when I need a muffin fix or company comes by and I just defrost and warm in microwave. Of course they're not glazed until they're defrosted. They're even good without the glaze.

Delicious!!

These were really yummy, and a little different. Even my pickiest eaters took a few bites (the frosting lured them in). My husband thought they were a nice change from blueberry muffins.

I made these today for my son's preschool class. They were a big hit with the kids and the teachers! The only change I made to the recipe was that I used 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour and 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour. They were delicious!

These are delicious. I added a few extra chocolate chips as I am a chocoholic. I was able to get 16 muffins from the recipe and baked them for 18 minutes to get them a little browner. They are very tasty and don't think I am going to use the glaze as I am giving some away. Try you'll like!!!

I made these muffins this morning and served them alongside berries topped with powdered sugar. The taste was so wonderful with a steaming cup of coffee. Would make these again and soon!
