I made this Bread Pudding and the Vanilla Sauce... Very easy, and Delicious.
I eliminated the white sugar for the sauce, and it was much better (for me).
I also used the bread I had which was Cinnamon Raisin, only soaked 10 mins, it was fine! Followed remaining recipe. Soooooo good!! I have tried many recipes and this was my favorite!!! The sauce was awesome!!
Great recipe but I tweaked a little. I used cinnamon raisin bread & cut it in cubes and let it sit overnight. It keeps the bread from being soggy. I also added 1/2 chopped walnuts. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
I made this for Christmas dessert last year, and it is fantastic! I have made it several times since as it is written. I have assembled it the night before and cooked it the next day. I also made the vanilla sauce the day before and just heated it up before serving. This year I am replacing the raisins with mini chocolate chips!
I love this recipe and with a few changes it is perfect for me. I increase the raisins to 1 cup, decrease the sugar to 1/3 cup and add an additional egg................
