THE BEST COOKIES EVER. EVERY YEAR I MAKE THESE ALONG WITH OTHER LAND-0-LAKES COOKIES AND I HAVE TO DOUBLE OR TRIPLE THE AMOUNT OF THESE COOKIES.

I have been baking these cookies for the past four Christmas seasons. Everyone absolutely loves them and I have had multiple requests for the recipe. This Christmas season I had a group of friends over for a cookie bake - this was the one cookie in my annual repertoire of treats that the whole group requested that we make. One helpful hint... Instead of spreading the filling onto the cookie, put it in a pastry bag and squirt on a dollup and then press the two cookies together to spread it to the edges. This speeds up the process, is much cleaner and makes for a more appealing appearance.

I made this as one of the 15 different kinds for my 2011 Holiday Cookies and thought it was a wonderful recipe. I think it would be a nice recipe for other parties where one would want party-like cookies. They were very easy to make and tasted great.

Excellent! Very presentable and tasty. Great natural green color accent for Christmas, too. Everyone wanted a recipe! Easy to make. Highly recommend!

Husband loved these. They are too sweet for my taste. I think next time I will just eat the cookies by themselves instead of with the filling. The powdered sugar filling just put it over the top for me.
