Nut Mixture
1 tablespoon Land O Lakes® Butter
24 whole almonds
24 walnut halves
Dried Plums
9 ounces pitted dried plums
2 ounces blue cheese, cut into 24 chunks
Dates
24 (6 ounces) pitted dried dates
24 small pieces crystallized ginger
STEP 1
Melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add almonds and walnuts. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 4-6 minutes or until nuts are toasted.
STEP 2
Use tip of finger to open the space where pit was removed from dried plum. Stuff warm walnut half into each dried plum; top with chunk of cheese.
STEP 3
If necessary, slit center of date. Stuff each date with almond and piece of ginger.
STEP 4
To serve, arrange stuffed fruit on platter. Serve at room temperature.
