6 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Unsalted Butter
2 tablespoons chopped shallots
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic
2 pounds fresh raw medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, rinsed
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
Hot cooked pasta such as pappardelle
Melt butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling; add shallots and garlic. Cook over medium-high heat 2-3 minutes or until shallots are softened.
Add shrimp; cook, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Stir in parsley, lemon and dill. Continue cooking 2-3 minute or until flavors are blended.
Serve over hot cooked pasta.
Any pasta variety works well with this dish, but we like to use wide noodles such as pappardelle. This large, broad, flat pasta noodle originated in the Tuscany region and its thickness is a good match for strongly flavored sauces.
