8 slices white or wheat bread
8 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American
4 (1-ounce) slices deli ham
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
Heat waffle iron.
Layer 4 slices bread with 1 slice cheese, 1 slice ham and 1 slice cheese. Top with remaining bread slices.
Spread butter evenly on outside of sandwiches. Place sandwiches into heated waffle iron; press down firmly. Cook 2 minutes or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
Cut each sandwich into 4 sticks. Serve with maple syrup.
To make ahead, prepare waffles sticks. Cool completely. Freeze in resealable plastic freezer bag. To serve, wrap in paper towel. Microwave 60-75 seconds or until heated through.
