Ingredients

2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter
2 cups
frozen O'Brien potatoes
1 medium
onion, cut into eighths
1 1/2 cups
broccoli florets
1/2 pound
Kielbasa or smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

Directions

  1. Melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add potatoes and onion. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 5-6 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned.
  2. Stir in broccoli and sausage. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes or until broccoli is crisply tender and sausage is heated through.

Recipe Tips

Prepared broccoli florets can be found in the produce section or in salad bar section of large grocery stores.

This was a big hit with my husband and myself. I made it just like the recipe, except I added olive oil and used chicken sausage. I may add a little corn next time. Very, very good.

I have made this with variations. I have also added frozen vegetables peas, corn, green bean mixture, etc. and shredded cheese over all just before removing from the pan. This is quick and easy to make and I recommend it highly. Next time I will add broccoli to mine.
