1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 cup real semi-sweet chocolate chips
STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
STEP 2
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt in bowl. Add milk, butter, egg and vanilla. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Stir in pecans.
STEP 3
Spread batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar; sprinkle with chocolate chips.
STEP 4
Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
