Learn How it Works...
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (12- to 16-ounce) pork tenderloin, sliced into very thin strips
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 medium (3/4 cup) onion, sliced into small wedges
1/2 cup water or chicken broth
8 to 10 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed, broken in half
1/3 cup prepared stir-fry sauce
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seed
Hot cooked basmati rice
STEP 1
Place flour and salt in resealable plastic food bag; add pork strips. Seal bag; shake to coat pork.
STEP 2
Melt butter in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling; add pork, sesame oil and onions. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5-7 minutes or until pork is golden brown. Remove pork mixture to medium bowl.
STEP 3
Place water and green beans in same skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until water is boiling. Cover; cook 3-5 minutes or until beans are crisply tender. Stir in stir fry sauce. Add pork mixture; stir. Continue cooking 1-2 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with sesame seed.
STEP 4
Serve over hot cooked rice.
Toasted sesame seeds are available in the Asian or spice aisle of the supermarket. To toast them, place sesame seed in 8-inch skillet. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally and watching very closely, just until seeds start to turn golden brown. Immediately remove from heat.
