2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons freshly grated lime zest
1 cup cold Land O Lakes® Butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup lime juice
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 large Land O Lakes® Eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup sliced almonds
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 2 teaspoons lime zest in bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 20-22 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Combine all filling ingredients except almonds and powdered sugar in bowl; mix well. Spread over hot, partially baked crust; sprinkle with almonds. Continue baking 23-28 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely.
Sift powdered sugar over cooled bars. Cut into bars.

This is a wonderful recipe. It's a little labor-intensive for me because I did use fresh limes, but it tastes great. I would make it again.
We couldn't stop eating these. I prefer them over the lemon bars. I did not use the almonds this time but might try putting them in the crust for the next batch.
