Ingredients

1 cup light corn syrup

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter

1 large Land O Lakes® Egg slightly beaten

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup pecan halves, toasted

How to make

  1. STEP 1

Combine all ingredients except pecans in 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 6-8 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil.

  2. STEP 2

Just before serving, stir in pecans. Serve warm or cool over ice cream or cake.

Tip #1

Toasting pecans enhances nut flavor. Place pecans onto baking sheet in single layer. Bake at 325°F, 8-10 minutes.

We used a blend of leftover syrups and pecan pieces. Worked great on Apple pancakes and should be perfect on peach frozen yogurt.
