1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs (yolks only)
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
Decorator sugar, if desired
Combine powdered sugar, butter, egg yolks and vanilla in bowl. Beat at medium speed until well mixed. Add flour and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed. Wrap dough in plastic food wrap. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight until firm.
Heat oven to 350°F.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Sprinkle with decorator sugar, if desired. Bake 9-11 minutes or until edges are browned.

I love this cookie! I use "self-rising flour", so I do not use baking soda or salt. I have used self-rising flour for the past 40 yrs and will never use reg flour.
