1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 teaspoons freshly minced shallots
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream
*Substitute 1/4 cup chicken broth.
Place butter pieces into one-pint canning jar; set aside.
Place white wine and shallots into 1-quart saucepan and boil over medium-high heat until reduced by over half (there should be about 1 tablespoon of liquid remaining).
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add heavy cream; heat just until it comes to a boil. Pour cream mixture over butter pieces. Screw lid tightly onto jar and shake until butter pieces are fully melted. Serve immediately
