1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 tablespoons chili crisp*
2 teaspoons honey
1 tablespoon thinly sliced shallot
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
2 teaspoons fresh mint leaves
Naan or French bread, for serving
Spread butter on platter or shallow dish. (Butter should be soft and spreadable, not melted.) Swirl when spreading to add visual appeal.
Spoon chili crisp evenly over butter. Drizzle with honey. Top evenly with shallot, thyme and mint.
Serve with warm naan or crusty French bread.
*Chili crisp is a spicy, crunchy aromatic condiment. This hot sauce has Chinese roots and is traditionally made with chiles, Sichuan peppercorns, spices, garlic and scallions that have been infused in oil and perfectly fried.
To make ahead, soften butter and prepare all ingredients. Assemble just before serving.
To soften butter, let chilled butter sit at room temperature for 45 minutes prior to using.
