Grilled BBQ Chicken Quesadillas

Cilantro Lime Sour Cream

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves

2 teaspoons fresh lime juice


12 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves

1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion

4 (10-inch) flour tortillas

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine all cilantro lime sour cream ingredients in bowl; set aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Cut 4 slices cheese in half; set aside.

  3. STEP 3

    Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.

  4. STEP 4

    Combine chicken, barbecue sauce, cilantro and red onion in bowl.

  5. STEP 5

    Assemble quesadillas by placing 2 slices cheese onto one-half of each tortilla. Top with 1/4 chicken mixture and 2 half slices cheese. Fold tortillas over filling.

  6. STEP 6

    Place onto grill. Grill, turning once, 4-6 minutes or until tortillas start to crisp and cheese is melted.

  7. STEP 7

    Serve with cilantro lime sour cream.
